Aluminum gears feature a press fit bore. To correctly install the gear onto the cam, place the gear into a pan of water. Heat the water to 200o Fahrenheit and allow to sit for 5 minutes. Remove and install cam gear onto camshaft. Be careful not to burn yourself or anyone else with the hot water.
