FORT SMITH, AR, February 1, 2022 – Effective immediately, Cody Smith has been promoted to Technical Product Director. Cody joined Cloyes in August of 2013 as Technical Support and then was promoted to Technical Support Manager in 2016. He has played a key role in new product developments, warranty analysis and customer support within the Cloyes organization. While delivering the company’s instructional videos he has also been active in developing digital and printed materials, providing customers with important timing system insights through the Cloyes hotline. In this role his team grew to two direct reports supporting the tech line and warranty analysis processes.

In his new role, Cody will continue to manage warranty and the help line but will now put more focus on digital content to support our customers with direct assistance in webinars, videos, presentations and communications. An additional engineering resource will be added to further enhance his teams new product initiatives. Cody will continue to report to Jason Thompson, VP of Product Development and Engineering.
